Stanley Cup Finals Update

This season will be the New York Islanders' 49th season and their 45th at Nassau Coliseum.

The Islanders are coached by Barry Trotz. When Trotz won the Stanley Cup with Washington, the Capitals won 49 games during the 2017-18 season.

As for it being their 45th season at Nassau Coliseum.

First off, notice New York can win the Stanley Cup by getting their 177th all-time playoff win.

The Islanders currently have a 17-7 record in the Stanley Cup Finals.

If they win the Stanley Cup, they'll have won their first Cup in 38 years and a total span of 39.

They will have won 39 playoff series to do so.

George Clinton was the first governor of New York. He was born in 1739.

New York was established on July 26th, 1788. 7+2+6+1+7+8+8 = 39

Every New York Super Bowl won comes back to the number 39 etc.

Think about the Jets winning Super Bowl III 16-7.

From the start of the NHL season to the start of the Stanley Cup Finals is 167 days.

The Islanders and Rangers are playing on the 39th day of the year.

Remember, it's been 38 years or a total span of 39 years since the Islanders won the Stanley Cup.

Barry Trotz won the Cup with Washington during the 101st NHL season.

The last time New York won the Stanley Cup was May 17th, 1983.

The Leafs have not been to the Stanley Cup Finals in 54 years.

On December 23rd, 2020, the NHL announced the schedules for all 31 teams.

In a "normal" season, the Stanley Cup Finals look like this:

They're saying that the last possible day of the playoffs is July 15th (Game 7).

The typical way the Stanley Cup Finals is one day off when the games are in the same city. Two days off for when the teams switch cities.

If the Stanley Cup Finals' last possible day is July 15th, we'll do the math to find the start date.

Game 7 - July 15th

Game 6 - July 12th

Game 5 - July 9th

Game 4 - July 6th

Game 3 - July 4th

Game 2 - July - 1st

Game 1 - June 29th

If this is the Stanley Cup Finals schedule, it will end in Game 5 (July 9th).

July 9th, 2021, is a date with 57 and 37 numerologies.

7+9+20+21 = 57

Super Bowl = 131, NBA Finals = 57, World Series = 57, FIFA World Cup = 57

7+9+21 = 37

July 9th is a date written 7/9.

Christopher Plummer dead at age 91, 54 days after his birthday.

He died in Weston, Connecticut.

Toronto has not been to the Stanley Cup Finals since '67.

He was born in Toronto and dropped dead on the 36th day of the year.

He died on the 24th day of the NHL season.

Notice how the Maple Leafs were established on November 26th, 1917.

The Islanders were established in '72.

Notice the 4:49 time stamp?

449 is the 87th prime number.

The Islanders have an 87-82-7 all-time record against the Maple Leafs, including 9-8 in the playoffs.

If New York wins the Stanley Cup over Toronto, they'll have 91 all-time wins against the 'Leafs.

The biggest threat to New York is Toronto getting their 62nd all-time playoff series win in the Stanley Cup Finals.

You could also say they can get their 57th all-time loss in the Stanley Cup, making more sense.

They would stay on 57 all-time series wins as the "Maple Leafs."

Toronto is 13-8 in the Stanley Cup Finals, 11-8 as the Maple Leafs.

February 18th is 131 days before the start of the Stanley Cup Finals.

*** If New York wins the next two verses Pittsburgh, they'll get their 131st all-time win against the Penguins.

*** If the Islanders win the Stanley Cup in five games, they'll have a 21-8 record in the Stanley Cup.

Matt Barzal signed with the Islanders on 9/1 or 1/9.

Matt Barzal signs a "three" extension with the Islanders on 9/1.

1+9+20+21 = 51

91 the 13th triangular number. Barzal number 13.

Barzal signed a 3-year 21-million dollar extension.

137, the 33rd prime number.

Tavares signed a 7-year 77 million dollar contract.

The Islanders retired the number 91 for Butch Goring to spite John Tavares snubbing them in free agency. Goring's number was retired on February 29th, 2020, before they played the Boston Bruins.

Goring was drafted 51st overall, and the Islanders retired his jersey against the Boston Bruins.

New York can become 5-1 in Stanley Cups.

From the date of his jersey retirement to Tavares birthday is 204 days.

Barzal signed his contract exactly 111 days after Tavares's birthday.

Barzal and Tavares have birthdays 117 days apart.

Matt Barzal #13 John Tavares #91

13+91 = 104

104th NHL season.
